Bro.
Michael Oliver and his wife, Kim, and their two sons, Seth and Jon-Albert,
moved up from Tuscaloosa, Al. in October of 2005 to become our Youth &
Associate Pastor. Bro. Michael is employed full time at the Free
Will Baptist Bible College, and is also a part time student at the
Bible College. He plans
on graduating in December of 2009 with a B.S. in Pastoral Ministry. A
preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ since Jan. 15, 2000, Bro. Michael has
served as interim pastor, evangelized and pastored in a few different
churches in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Prior to answering the call
to preach the gospel, he owned a trucking business that hauled freight,
mainly in the southeast.
Bro.
Michael’s vision for Olivet FWB Church is to see it grow by way of
obedience to God’s Word in each individual’s life. He believes that as
Olivet Church commits it self to the Lord Jesus Christ, then God will not
only give spiritual growth, but numerical growth also. If
you are looking for a church where you and your family can worship and serve
the Lord, we would love for you to come and join us at Olivet.
